Behind the Burgee
In the late '40s, the Gage family crafted the burgee after acquiring the Matriarch. This distinctive symbol represents their family crest and is designed with red, white, and blue colors, reminiscent of the American Flag. The center showcases a bold letter G. Following maritime yacht registration protocol, it was officially registered with Lloyds of London in the UK in 1949.
Presently, the Gage Burgee is an embodiment of the numerous business divisions of Gage Marine Corporation.
